There
are few restaurants in Kerry that can offer such a spectacular environment
in which to dine. Our cuisine could be best described as old traditions
enlivened by innovative and exciting twists using only the best local
produce and fish available. We have an extensive selection of wines, including
wines from some of the most renowned vine yards around the world, which
have been carefully chosen to complement our diverse menu. Our friendly
staff are eager to cater to your every need, our aim to ensure your visit
is memorable and that you will be happy to return again and again.

The
Stone House Restaurant is located in the picturesque village of Fahan
(on the Slea Head Road), just 15 minutes west of Dingle. The village has
many archaeological monuments that stretch back to the earliest days of
Irish history. Fishing and the sea is still very much part of life here
today and all of the fish for the restaurant are caught by local fishermen
.A stroll along the country roads to breathe the fresh sea air or a visit
to the fascinating Dun Beag Fort is the ideal way to whet the appetite.

The
Stone House is an unusual building, where it is one of only two buildings
in Ireland that is totally built of local stone, including a stone roof.
The setting inside is based on traditional cosiness with a traditional
open fire, deep cushioned seats and many paintings from local artists
on view. Classy table settings, comfortable high-back chairs and clever
lighting all contribute to a relaxed dining experience.
