The Stone House Restaurant is located in the picturesque village of Fahan (on the Slea Head Road), just 15 minutes west of Dingle. The village has many archaeological monuments that stretch back to the earliest days of Irish history. Fishing and the sea is still very much part of life here today and all of the fish for the restaurant are caught by local fishermen .A stroll along the country roads to breathe the fresh sea air or a visit to the fascinating Dun Beag Fort is the ideal way to whet the appetite.

Welcome

photoThe Stone House is an unusual building, where it is one of only two buildings in Ireland that is totally built of local stone, including a stone roof. The setting inside is based on traditional cosiness with a traditional open fire, deep cushioned seats and many paintings from local artists on view. Classy table settings, comfortable high-back chairs and clever lighting all contribute to a relaxed dining experience.
